"Music is not what I do, it's who I am!"

With more than thirty years of violin performance experience and more than fifteen years of violin instruction, my philosophy is to encourage, nurture, and confidently grow musicians to assist them in finding their musical path in life.

Teaching someone how to play an instrument is truly, very easy. However, teaching them how to do it well and [teaching them] how to love it, is a huge responsibility. My goal with this violin studio is not the quanitity of students I obtain, rather the quality of musicians I grow. I want to inspire them and leave an impact on their musical career. Whether my students are beginners or seasoned musicians, 5 years old or 95 years old; I am here to help them reach their individual goals.

I grew up in a small city north of Milwaukee, WI and over my 30+ years, I became part of my school orchestra, I played with chamber groups throughout southeastern Wisconsin, made it to numerous State competitions, performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and have inspired more than 150 students combined. I'm a goal-oriented teacher while remaining soft around the edges.
